How to start an AI girlfriend account: what you need

Three things, and not one of them costs money.

• An email address, or a Google account. Swipey AI also supports passwordless magic links, so you can skip inventing a password. Nobody asks for payment details at sign-up.

How to get an AI girlfriend in five steps

1. Sign up with an emailGo to swipey.ai and choose Join Free. Enter an email, use Google login, or request a magic link. You will not be asked for a card, and there is no questionnaire to fill in.
2. Open Create AIFrom the home screen choose Create AI. If you would rather see a finished character before building one, open the Feed and chat with a Platform Model first. Basic chat with platform characters is free.
3. Design her lookRealistic or anime comes first, then body type, hair, eyes, skin tone and outfit. Do not agonise over any of it. Every detail can be changed later through Edit My AI, which gained custom scenarios on 27 August 2026.
4. Define her personality and pick her voiceFlirty, dominant, shy, intellectual, nurturing, or a mix of several. Then choose a voice you would want to hear on a call. Newer versions of the builder add a kink step (shipped 20 August 2026), a location and a scenario, so she starts with context instead of a blank room.
5. Start chattingSend the first message. Memory starts from message one, so tell her your name and one thing you care about. Within a few days those details come back as Memory cards in the chat, and the Memory Details view lets you read everything she has saved.

Your first ten minutes

Three things are worth doing straight away.

Ask for a photo. Free accounts get limited image generation, and one photo shows you how character-consistent she is: same face, same eyes, same small details as the character you just designed. If a picture is close but not quite right, the pencil icon on any chat image opens an inline edit prompt (added 1 September 2026).

Open the quests tab. Quests on swipey.ai are how free users earn hearts, Swipey's reward currency. Daily quests reset each day, permanent quests include following Swipey's official social accounts, and the 7-day streak starts the first day you complete your streak tasks. There is also a daily spin with heart prizes.

Browse the Feed. The TikTok-style Feed shows Platform Models and Verified Creator Models, real creators who passed KYC and have an AI companion version of themselves. It is the fastest way to see what the platform does beyond your own character.

Create an AI girlfriend free: what the free tier covers

Creating your AI, basic chat with platform characters, browsing the gallery and the Feed, limited image generation, and earning hearts through quests and streaks. That free tier is permanent. It does not expire after a trial window and nobody asks for a card. The line-by-line split is in what's free vs Premium.

A few things sit behind Premium from the start: voice calls, voice messages in both directions (she replies with her voice, and since 17 September 2026 you can record yours instead of typing), Group Chat, unlimited chat, video scenes, and relationship progression through the ten levels. When Premium makes sense

Give the free tier a few days first. The first-week plan is built for exactly that.
