Are AI girlfriend apps safe? The six checks

Two more points that do not fit in a table. Swipey keeps a baseline moderation floor for illegal content and anything involving minors whichever chat settings you choose, so "uncensored" on the product pages does not mean unmoderated. And sign-in uses one-time codes, Google login or magic links, which means there is no Swipey password of yours waiting in a database to be leaked.
AI girlfriend privacy: things only you can check
- Budget. Decide before buying any hearts. On Swipey you can earn hearts through quests, streaks and the daily spin, so set a monthly cap for purchases and treat anything earned as the default.
- Shared devices. Use a private browser window and sign out afterwards. Swipey is a website, so there is no app icon unless you accept the Install App banner, and you can remove that icon any time.
- Your email. A dedicated address is fine; Swipey needs nothing else to open an account. The no sign-up trade-off explains why some account is worth having.
- What you publish. Your custom AI is private by default. Since 23 September 2026 the Creator Community lets Premium members with a linked Discord account submit a custom AI for everyone to chat with. The Swipey team reviews every submission, and publishing is permanent: a published character cannot be made private again or edited, and it shows your @username. Only submit a character you are happy to share permanently.
- Your statement. Depending on the payment method, the charge appears either under INVAI (INVAI LTD, the Cyprus company that operates Swipey AI) or under a name containing Swipey. Some statements add the city, Nicosia. The full explanation is at how a Swipey charge appears on your card.
- Your own reasons. Entertainment and company are fine reasons. If it starts replacing people rather than adding to your day, that is your signal to step back.
Is Swipey AI safe? What to read before signing up
Swipey's privacy policy, terms of service and complaint policy. The footer of swipey.ai also links its compliance statement. We do not paraphrase those documents here; read them yourself and hold the product to them. This site's own privacy policy covers what tryswipey.com collects, which is very little.
If the six checks pass for you, the step-by-step start guide takes about five minutes and asks for nothing but an email. If they do not pass, that is a fine answer too. The point of checking first is that you decide with the facts in front of you.

Swipey AI states on its own pages that it is adults-only with regional age verification, that conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, that data is never sold or shared with third parties, that companions are disclosed as AI, and that Verified Creators pass KYC and sign a model release. Premium cancels from Settings. Those are its published commitments; read the linked policies before you rely on them.
Are AI girlfriend apps private?

Can I delete my Swipey AI account?
Yes, yourself. Open swipey.ai/profile?tab=settings, choose the Profile tab, tap Delete Profile and confirm. It is permanent and removes your login, profile, chats and their media, Custom AI companions and their memories, and personal data. Cancel an active Premium first on the same page. If anything blocks it, email hello@swipey.ai from the account email.
How does a Swipey AI charge appear on my bank statement?
It depends on the payment method.
