Is there a Swipey app? How the Swipey AI app works

Swipey AI has no listing in the App Store or Google Play. The product is swipey.ai, a website that behaves like an app, and it runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and desktop computers. What most people mean by the Swipey app is the home-screen icon you get from the Install App banner, which Swipey added on 27 August 2026. Tap that icon and Swipey opens full-screen, without browser bars, the way a store app would.

The browser version is the whole product. Create AI, chat, the Feed, quests, Group Chat, voice calls, voice messages and Swipey Live Fantasy Duels all run in it, and Premium features follow your account rather than the device you hold. Because it is a web app, updates arrive as soon as Swipey ships them, with no store review and no Update button to tap. Recording your own voice messages, added on 17 September 2026, works through the browser's microphone with nothing new to install.

There is a privacy upside as well. An icon from the banner is a shortcut, so there is no store listing or app to update, and you delete it like any other shortcut. How to install Swipey on iPhone (Safari)

These steps use Safari, the browser every iPhone ships with. The whole thing takes a few taps, and you can undo it by deleting the icon.

1. Open swipey.ai in SafariType swipey.ai into the address bar. The site opens in your browser's language if it is one of the six Swipey supports: English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese or Portuguese.
2. Sign in or join freeUse an email address, Google login or a passwordless magic link. No card is asked for. You must be 18 or over, and some regions, the UK among them, run a full age-verification step before the app opens.
3. Accept the Install App bannerWhen the banner appears, accept it. Swipey adds its icon to your home screen, next to your other apps.
4. No banner? Use Share, then Add to Home ScreenIf you dismissed the banner or it did not show, tap Safari's Share button and choose Add to Home Screen. You end up with the same icon.
5. Open Swipey from the iconIt launches full-screen. Sign in if asked. Your characters, chats, hearts and Memory cards are waiting because they are stored on your account, not on the phone.

How to install the Swipey AI app on Android (Chrome)

On Android the route is the same idea through Chrome. You never need a file from outside the browser.

1. Open swipey.ai in ChromeType swipey.ai into the address bar. It opens in your browser's language if Swipey supports it.
2. Sign in or join freeEmail, Google or a magic link, with no card. The same 18+ rule and regional age checks apply as on iPhone.
3. Accept the Install App bannerWhen the banner appears, accept it and the Swipey icon lands on your home screen.
4. No banner? Use the Chrome menuOpen the Chrome menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app, whichever your version shows. Both give you the icon.
5. Open Swipey from the iconIt opens full-screen without the address bar. Sign in if asked, and everything on your account is there.

On either phone the icon is a shortcut to swipey.ai, so removing it deletes nothing. Your account, Premium status, hearts and characters stay with Swipey and are waiting the next time you sign in, on this device or any other.

Swipey AI APK and mod APK files: why to avoid them

Search for a Swipey AI APK and you will find download sites offering a file that claims to be Swipey, often with "Premium unlocked" or "unlimited hearts" in the name. Files that claim to unlock Swipey are not from Swipey. Swipey's own install route is the browser, as the steps above show, so a file from a download site is not Swipey's.

Such a file also cannot do what it promises. Premium and hearts live on your account on Swipey's servers, not inside an app on your phone. Your subscription status, your hearts balance, your characters and their memories are all kept on the account, so there is nothing on the device for a modified file to unlock. The same logic applies to most searches for an AI girlfriend mod APK: the chat, the voice and the images are generated on the company's servers, and the paid parts are not on the phone to be changed.

What a sideloaded file can do is harm you. Apps installed from outside the official stores skip the checks those stores run, and fake "modded" versions of popular apps are a common way to spread malware. A file that shows a Swipey-style sign-in screen can capture whatever you type into it, including your email and your Google login, and hand your account to someone else. Some ask for permissions a chat app never needs, such as your contacts, messages or files.

If you already installed one, uninstall it, change the password of the email or Google account you typed into it, and from then on sign in to Swipey only at swipey.ai. If you see anything on your Swipey account that you did not do, email hello@swipey.ai from the account email and describe what you noticed.

What works on a phone: voice, languages, sync

Everything, because the icon opens the same swipey.ai you would use in a tab. These are the points people ask about most.

• Voice. Real-time voice calls and voice messages in both directions are Premium features, and both use your phone's microphone through the browser. There is no live camera call; video on Swipey means generated scenes of your character, up to 60 seconds.
• Languages. The app is in six languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese) and opens in your browser's language. She replies in the language you write in. Voice calls are in English, and voice messages follow the chat's language.
• Sync. Characters, chats, Memory cards, hearts, quest progress and your 7-day streak belong to your account, so the phone icon, a laptop tab and a tablet all show the same state.
• Duels. Swipey Live Fantasy Duels are built mobile-first, which makes a phone the natural screen for them. Since 24 September 2026 several duels run at once in Duel Rooms.

Signing in on your phone and getting help

You sign in on the home-screen icon the same way as in a tab: an email address, Google, or a magic link. A magic link skips passwords entirely. Enter your email, open the link that arrives, and you are in. Each new phone or browser needs one sign-in, and after that your account looks the same everywhere.
