AI girlfriend online, no download: how it works

Open swipey.ai in Safari, Chrome or any current browser, sign in with an email, Google or a magic link, and the whole product is there: Create AI, chat, the Feed, quests, Group Chat, Swipey Live Fantasy Duels. The browser version is the full product, with nothing held back for a store app that does not exist.

Because it is a web app, updates arrive the moment Swipey ships them. In the last two weeks of August 2026 alone that meant Group Chat with two or three characters (27 August), Memory cards and the Memory Details view (27 August), a kink step in Create AI (20 August) and the Install App banner itself (27 August). Not one of those asked you to visit a store or tap Update.

Voice calls work in the browser too, and so do voice messages in both directions (since 17 September 2026 you can record yours through the browser's microphone and she answers every one), on-demand video scenes up to 60 seconds and photo-to-video. Premium features are gated by your account, never by the device you happen to be holding.

The "Install App" banner

On phones, Swipey shows an Install App banner (shipped 27 August 2026). Accept it and an icon lands on your home screen. Tapping the icon opens Swipey full-screen, without browser bars, the way a store app would open. You have skipped the store entirely, so there is no listing, review history or purchase record attached to it.

Decline the banner and nothing changes; you keep using swipey.ai in a tab. You can add the shortcut later from your browser's share or menu button if you change your mind, and remove it like any other home-screen icon. Switching devices on a browser AI girlfriend

Memory, characters and chats are persistent across sessions and devices. Start a conversation on your phone on the train, then continue it on a laptop at home. The Memory cards, the relationship level and the photos in your gallery follow the account rather than the device, and so do hearts, quest progress and your 7-day streak.

Privacy on an AI girlfriend website, no app required

There is no app icon unless you choose one and no store purchase history. Swipey states that conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, that there are no public galleries by default, and that data is never sold or shared with third parties. Requirements

• A current browser: Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
• A connection good enough for short video. Voice calls and 60-second scenes stream from the server, so mobile data works but Wi-Fi is smoother.
• Age 18 or over, with full age verification in some regions before the app opens.
• An email address, a Google account or a click on a magic link. No card.
